The founder of the brand wore a beautiful pink dress and makeup that was all one color.
You can see Selena Gomez well in pink.
At the launch of her brand’s new product, Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush, in New York City on April 6, the 31-year-old singer, actor, and founder of Rare Beauty felt like spring had come early.
Gomez looked stunning in a soft pink button-down dress with a small paisley design. The star wore a baby pink coat over her shoulders for a casual look. She accessorized with pink shoes with small ribbons on the tips of them.
Gomez’s hair was made by celebrity hairstylist Orlando Pita into a big, ’60s-style bouffant to add a bit of vintage flair.
Hung Vanngo, Gomez’s makeup artist, kept her look girly, bright, and one color, with soft pink tones used all over. The star was wearing her brand-new Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush, which is a mix of two of Rare Beauty’s most popular products: the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and the Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter.
Gomez wore the shade Happy to the party because she was so excited about the launch, as seen on Rare Beauty’s social media after the event.
People asked Gomez about the two items that inspired the new line. “I love that our liquid blush is super pigmented and lasts all day and that our highlighters give your skin this amazing sheen that makes it look illuminated,” she said.
The star of “The Only Murders in the Building” said that the six shades of blush—four from the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and two brand-new—are meant to be “mixed, matched, and layered.”
“Whether I’m on set, going to a red carpet or hanging out with friends, there is no wrong way to wear it,” she said. “I gravitate towards Cheer for the daytime — it’s such an effortless shade and I love how it brightens up my face.”
The star also said that working on the launch was “a lot of fun” and that she tried the possible shades on her friends along the way.
“The biggest challenge was stopping at six shades!” she told us.
Most of the time, the singer wears clothes that match. In the ads for her new blush, the singer wore a handmade baby pink satin corset top that made her look even more beautiful. She wore a black belt and pants with a high waist.

The Hope Corset was made by Kate March, the creator of Undone by Kate, and Erin Walsh, Gomez’s stylist. They worked together to make sure the custom corset with cap sleeves was the right color for the new promotion.
