Selena Gomez went out in New York City after getting a sought-after French award on Thursday for her role in the quirky show Emilia Perez.

Gomez, who is 32 years old, plays the lead role in the Spanish-language crime comedy about a cruel drug gang boss who fakes their own death to become a woman.

Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldana, Edgar Ramirez, and Adriana Paz all give great performances in the movie directed by Jacques Audiard.

The Ordre des Arts et des Lettres was given to Gomez and the rest of the Emilia Perez group at Villa Albertine in New York, which is the French Institute for Culture and Education.

The award is given to people whose writing, art, or other artistic works have “significantly contributed to the enrichment of French cultural inheritance.”

It was given to them by Mohamed Bouabdallah, who is the head of Villa Albertine and a French cultural diplomat in the United States.

The beautiful green award was pinned to Gomez’s sexy black blazer dress’s silk lapel.

The rich woman thanked Ambassador Bouabdallah and Villa Albertine as she posted pictures from the event on Instagram.

Selena plays Jessi Del Monte, the transgender wife of a Mexican drug lord, in Jacques Audiard’s highly acclaimed film, which opens in some theatres November 1 and then starts streaming on Netflix November 13.
