As she tours the world to promote her crazy new movie Emilia Perez, which is about a drug lord who changes gender, Selena Gomez has been under a lot of stress lately.
The former Disney star has broken out because of this. In a very rare move, the cover girl showed off her zits on Tuesday.
Gomez wrote over the picture, “Even my skin is over me rn.”
Additionally, she told E! News that all the rumors that she might be up for an Oscar for her part as the crazy wife of a drug boss have made her feel stressed.
“I have no idea what will happen.” The girlfriend of Benny Blanco said, “I’m stressed—I’m already breaking out.”
She said that her Emilia Perez co-stars made her feel “safe” on set.
In the movie, she has to dance all over a bed, punch the “aunt” of the dead drug boss, and make out with her pimp.
The 32-year-old actress worked on the comedy-drama with Zoe Saldana and Karla Sofia Gascon. Selena has said that she became close with her co-stars.
Selena told ‘Extra’ that they became like sisters during the shoot and said, “A thousand percent.” Plus, these women are kind, brave, and strong, and they made me feel safe.
“I knew I could lean on them if I needed to, even in the craziest scenes”, she said. I had to be just good to try to get to their level because they’re so good.
Also, Selena is “thrilled” by how people feel about the movie.
She said, “We are so happy that people are seeing it with an open mind and heart. Hopefully, it will leave an impression.”
Because of how well her Rare Beauty brand did earlier this year, Selena became a billionaire.
The actress started her cosmetics line in 2020 and plans to raise $100 million for mental health awareness. Selena said she was amazed by the growth of Rare Beauty.
In an interview with TIME magazine, she said, “I will admit that it sometimes overwhelms me.” I think that if I focus on the numbers, I’ll lose what made Rare Beauty unique.
I never meant for it to just be about making a lot of money.
It’s been estimated that Selena will never sell Rare Beauty, even though the company is worth more than $1 billion.
“Only Murders in the Building” star said, “I really don’t have any plans for that.”
